Student Research Day is returning April 1, 2026!
Each year toward the end of Winter semester, UFV students are invited to design and submit a research poster and/or a two-minute microlecture for UFV Student Research Day. The purpose? To share the current state of their faculty-supervised research with a diverse audience of UFV academics, students, family and friends, industry and community leaders, and other members of the Fraser Valley community.
Students, sign up to present a research poster, a microlecture, or maybe both. Prizes are up for grabs! Faculty, we need you too — volunteer to judge the poster competition.
Deadline for poster submission & registration – 9 am, Monday, March 16.
Schedule:
– 9:30 am — Doors open
– 10 am-1 pm — Poster presentations / judging
– 12:30-1:30 pm — Lunch available
– 1:30-2:30 pm — Microlectures
– 2:30-3 pm — Awards ceremony, closing remarks
