Cascades Giving Day — Oct 29

This year’s Cascades Giving Day, is coming up on Oct 29. Cascades Giving Day is a 24-hour campaign dedicated to raising funds to support UFV student-athletes and Athletics and Campus Recreation programs.  On Cascades Giving Day, we invite you to support the UFV community by joining our CLIMB to $50,000. CLIMB is a celebration of the Cascades’ commitment to Chasing peak performance, Leading by example, Including and inspiring others, Making a difference, and Being all in. Your participation helps provide the resources students need to win in competition, in the classroom, and in the community, both now and in the future. 

Whether you’re a faculty member cheering from the sidelines or a staff member committed to enhancing campus life, your support matters. We recognize everything you do to invest in students, and on October 29, we invite you to be part of a movement that helps them reach their full potential. 

UFV student-athletes, coaches, alumni, and staff are rallying to raise funds to strengthen varsity sports and campus recreation. Your support fuels scholarships, equipment, travel, and more! 

UFV Faculty and Staff: How you can get involved 

  • Spread the word: By sharing the campaign with your networks you can help spread excitement and build momentum for the day. Sign up to become an Ambassador and receive a toolkit of resources which offers easy ways to share messages online. 
  • Wear UFV gear: Show your UFV pride by wearing UFV-branded gear — or anything green — to cheer on the Cascades as they CLIMB towards $50,000! 
  • Join the fun on social media: Snap a photo of yourself with students or colleagues making the heart symbol, include a message of support for the Cascades, and post it to your social media channels. Share your photo using the hashtag #WeClimbWeConquer to show your pride!  
  • Make a gift: Check out the fun-filled Challenges, including the UFV Employee Match, where every UFV employee donation of $25 or more will receive a $25 match to leverage your impact.
