Join Victoria Surtees for Chat Internationalization (Chat-I) to discuss the topic: Setting Expectations. Articulate and mediate differences in the roles of teachers and learners across cultures and disciplines Mentor students during their transition to new cultures and disciplines .
Chat-I is an opportunity to hear what colleagues are doing in different disciplines and to think through wicked problems together.
This year, Chat-I topics are inspired by the Intercultural Facilitation Competencies developed by Dimitrov and Haque (2016).
For each session, we will explore resources, discuss tensions, and share practical strategies for building our skills as facilitators in different areas.
As always, come to one session or many, bring a friend, or stay on the mailing list to receive the materials from each session.
