Brightspace is replacing Blackboard as UFV’s new Learning Management System!

Most courses will be taught in Brightspace for the Summer 2025 semester with the exception of cross-listed courses that will be delivered through Blackboard. Students enrolled in a cross-listed course will be notified by email.

Students: to access your Brightspace courses:

  1. Go to myclass.ufv.ca and select Brightspace or go directly to brightspace.ufv.ca
  2. Sign in using your UFV Student Email and password
  3. Check My Course to view your course.

If your course is missing in Brightspace, it’s likely cross-listed and being taught in Blackboard.

To access your cross-listed course in Blackboard:

  1. Go to myclass.ufv.ca and select Blackboard.
  2. Sign in using your UFV Student Email and password
  3. Go to the Courses Menu and see if your Summer 2025 course is available.
