Connected by kindness: A tremendous show of support on UFV Giving Day

On April 11, the University of the Fraser Valley community came together with heart and purpose for UFV Giving Day — a day devoted to student success through generosity, connection, and collective action. This day marked a fitting close to UFV’s 50th anniversary celebrations and highlighted the many threads that connect us across campuses, disciplines, and generations.

Thanks to these strong connections and shared commitment, UFV raised nearly $2 million through annual giving in 2024-25. These contributions make an impact through student awards, hands-on learning, wellness initiatives, and so much more.

UFV Giving Day reminded us that every act of generosity, no matter the size, is a thread that strengthens the fabric of our university and helps weave a brighter future for students.

“Your kindness goes a long way, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. We are able to grow as students and individuals through your generosity. In all the ways you contribute to this community, you have helped each and every one of us write our own stories and have a memorable time at UFV.”
— Eesha, Kinesiology student

Thank you for strengthening the fabric of UFV

Your dedication to students shows up in countless ways — through your time, your encouragement, your generosity, and your belief in what’s possible. Whether you participated in UFV Giving Day or supported students in other ways this year, your impact is deeply felt and sincerely appreciated.

We’re building something meaningful together — a university community that lifts students up, helps them thrive, and connects them to the tools and support they need to succeed.

If you’re interested in continuing to make a difference, or if you missed your opportunity to contribute, you can still support UFV students by setting up a recurring donation through payroll deductions.
