Taking place in person on the UFV Abbotsford campus (room K180) and online via Zoom, a diverse group of industry experts will share their insights on navigating the transition from academia to the tech industry and the world of startups.

Whether you’re looking to break into the tech industry, aiming to start your own tech business, or just want to learn from successful professionals, this panel is packed with valuable tips, experiences, and advice. Get the inside scoop on how to thrive in the fast-paced world of tech careers and entrepreneurship.

Prashant Agrawal – Investor with experience in Tech, VC Lab Venture Capital Alumni, specializing in Finance, General Management, and Fund Management.
Jason Wong – Cofounder of TEDxSFU and Beta Collective, with extensive Business and Tech experience as a founder.
Raza Mirza – Amazon Software Development Manager and Engineering Coach with expertise in software engineering leadership.

This event is hosted with support from the Computing Students Association, the Esposito Family Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Center for Experiential and Career Education (CECE). Students will have opportunities to connect with other employers on-site as part of the CECE’s Career Fair 2025 program which runs from 11 am to 3 pm on the same day.
