Welcome to the new academic year, UFV faculty and staff members! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the Relationship and Fund Development booth (formerly Advancement) at the Employee Fall BBQ.
Despite the clouds, the energy remained bright. This year, we introduced the Donor Dollars Cornhole Toss. In our version of this family favourite game faculty and staff allocated donor dollars based on the points they earned. Thanks to some impressive bean bag tossing, the UFV Staff and Faculty Annual Bursary received $131, and $238 was allocated to the UFV-SUS Food Bank.
We are also thrilled to announce the lucky winner of the two tickets to the Abbotsford Canucks 2024/25 season home opener game on Friday, October 25th. Drumroll, please! Congratulations to Sumitra R.
The true heart of the event goes beyond the activities and giveaways. It is one way to express our gratitude to each and every one of you. As supporters and donors, you are an essential thread in the tapestry of UFV’s journey, especially as we celebrate UFV’s 50th anniversary this year.
