UFV Library in partnership with the Student Union Society will be holding our first annual Freedom to Read Event on Monday, Feb 26 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the UFV Abbotsford Student Union Building. Students and faculty will be reading excerpts from banned or challenged books.
This event is to raise awareness around censorship of books and the right to read, an intellectual freedom granted in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
