The Humanitarian Face in War — Feb 7

Join us at this hybrid event on Feb 7 at UFV Abbotsford or online via Zoom, and hear from speakers from humanitarian organizations that are responding to conflicts in war-torn regions of the world. This event aims to raise awareness and foster a deeper understanding of the complexities of conflicts, the dire need for action, and the tireless efforts of humanitarian organizations.

Opening Remarks & Moderation:

Dr. Geetanjali Gill and Adetoun Illumoka provide opening remarks and moderation. Gill is Program Chair, Global Development Studies program, UFV, and Director of the Research Centre for Justice, Equity, and Sustainable Action. Illumoka is a member of the BC Council for International Cooperation Lead on Policy, Social Movements and Knowledge Exchange; Women, Peace and Security.
