Today is Giving Tuesday!

On Giving Tuesday, let’s break the barriers to education caused by hunger. Your support to the UFV-SUS Food Bank is a step towards a brighter future. Food insecurity amongst students is a growing concern that can have profound effects on their physical, mental, and academic well-being.

Your generosity this Giving Tuesday will provide much-needed support to those UFV students facing food insecurity, ensuring they can focus on their studies without the burden of hunger. Every dollar and item donated will go towards replenishing the food bank while supporting its sustainability throughout the academic year.

1. Donate today! Make a one-time donation in support the UFV-SUS Food Bank. All donations (up to $10,000) to the food bank will be matched.
2. Sign up for payroll deductions and provide a steady source of support for the UFV-SUS Food Bank. Even a small, consistent donation can accumulate to make a significant impact over time. Sign up today.
3. Come together as a department to build a food hamper in support of the UFV-SUS Food Bank. By building food hampers filled with essential items, you can provide immediate support to those facing food insecurity. Hampers will be accepted up until Dec 1 at the Advancement office (B249) on the Abbotsford campus or Student Services (A1318) on the Chilliwack campus.

With your support, the UFV-SUS Food Bank can continue to provide students and their families with the essential resources they need to thrive. Thank you for being a part of this year’s Giving Tuesday generosity movement.
