After you’ve enjoyed some delicious candy this Halloween, make sure to save your wrappers and other flexible plastic packaging. Bring them to the Office of Sustainability (UFV Abbotsford, building B, room 150D), or your local London Drugs location and deposit them through Recycle BC’s ‘Other Flexible Plastics’ program.
All it takes is a little bit of effort, and you’ll be helping to prevent our landfills from being filled with plastics that could have been recycled or used for energy conversion. In 2019, London Drugs and Recycle BC collected 46.2 tonnes of other flexible plastic packaging.
