Food For Thought food drive — Mar 6

Hey UFV community! Did you know that UFV has its very own food bank? To spread awareness and help this amazing cause, a group of social work students are hosting a food drive on campus. On March 6 between 11 am and 1 pm there will be a table set up outside the UFV Abbotsford campus library. Stop by to donate a few items or come learn about this service for UFV students.

For this event we are looking for non-perishable items in cans or sealed packages (pasta, soups, beans, pasta sauce, peanut butter, rice etc). We cannot accept anything that has exceeded the best-before date or any items that are expired.

We are also in need of some hygiene products such as shampoo/conditioner, body wash, bars of soap period/menstrual products.

UFV is an amazing community, and with the support of staff and students we can continue to provide an essential service to our peers. We hope to see you March 6! If you cannot make it on March 6, please note we have five donation boxes around campus that you can drop items off at. Box locations are SUB entrance, library entrance, Building A 219, Building B cafeteria, and Building B 315. Thank you for your support!
