Volunteer with Canadian Blood Services

Make all the difference and join Canada’s Lifeline!

Whether it’s supporting donors throughout the donation process, recruiting new donors, or raising awareness about the importance of our lifesaving programs; our volunteers are a vital link in Canada’s Lifeline.

We are looking for volunteers to join our new team at the Plasma Donor Centre opening soon in Abbotsford. Volunteers will greet donors with a smile, make conversation, and accompany them throughout their donation process. Volunteers help donors feel welcome and comfortable because the care and attention our volunteers give is very often a key reason why donors return. Volunteer shifts are available Monday – Saturday ranging from 8am-8pm. We are looking for an average commitment of 12 hours/month and volunteers must be vaccinated for Covid-19.

Whether you want to develop new skills, grow your network, help us improve the donor experience, or simply make a difference in your community, don’t wait, and apply today to become a volunteer and make all the difference for patients across Canada.
