The UFV Alumni Association is putting out a call to all alumni artists! If you or someone you know has a flair for artistic creativity, we encourage you to submit to the 2023 Alumni Commemorative Wine Artist competition.
Each year, the Alumni Association, in partnership with Chaberton Estate Winery, features the work of one UFV alum. This tradition is now in its 19th year. Wine is produced in honour of the graduating class for the year, and sales of each case go towards supporting students with scholarships and bursaries.
All forms of art are eligible, as long as they can be photographed and printed. This includes, but is not limited to: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking. Up to three high-resolution images can be submitted, along with a 50-word description of each piece of artwork and a 70-word biography.
All eligible submissions will be considered, and the winner will be decided in January.
The Alumni commemorative wine artist contest winner will have their artwork and bio printed on the 2023 Alumni commemorative wine and receive a $500 honorarium.
Submission deadline is January 17, 2023
