Come join us for garden care, orange flower area care, seasonal harvesting, and volunteer training at the garden, UFV Chilliwack campus, east entrance of Building A between the Kinesiology wing and the Indigenous Studies wing.
October 14, 10 a.m. to noon.
Learn where to put the weeds and what is happening in the garden now, what and how to harvest now, care for the orange flower area, see old friends, meet new people 😊 and spend time outside in the garden in beautiful and sacred Stó:lō Téméxw. Please bring gloves, and tools if you have them. We have extra if you don’t 😊. Kindly dress for the weather and bring your water bottle.
You are very welcome to kindly share this invitation with anyone who may be interested. In case of inclement weather we will still meet inside the big glass wall for mint tea and a brief presentation and discussion about the garden.
