The Faculty Standards committee of Senate has two positions available on the Faculty Service Excellence award (FSEA) selection committee, for the 2022-23 year:
– 1 student, 1-year term (until July 31, 2023)
– 1 staff, 2-year term (until July 31, 2024)
Students and staff need to meet the eligibility requirements set out in Senate bylaws (p.11) found at ufv.ca/senate.
The committee meets approximately two to three times — once in December or January, and one or two more times between January and March. Committee members are also asked to individually review nomination packages in advance of meetings.
If you’re interested in joining, please email UFVsecretariat@ufv.ca by October 4, and provide a brief paragraph about your interest in being a member of the FSEA selection committee.
