Invitation to participate in a study on teaching with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

Calling all faculty members:

Dr. Candy Ho, assistant professor of Integrative Career & Capstone Learning, College of Arts, is conducting a qualitative study (UFV HREB Protocol No: 100829) to investigate the question, “How can faculty members in post-secondary institutions incorporate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) to enhance teaching and curriculum?”

The aim is to gain insight into faculty members’ awareness and understanding of the SDGs, and provide recommendations to post-secondary institutions, professional associations, and government agencies on how to mobilize the SDGs in post-secondary institutions.

Dr. Ho is seeking faculty participation in the study as follows:
– participation in a one-on-one virtual interview
– design and implementation of an SDG course component
– debrief in a virtual focus group

Participant time commitment is anticipated to be between 5.75-8.5 hours. Participants will be compensated with $100 in gift cards of their choice.
