Living Our Values: Integrity – Respect in the Workplace — Oct 5

The University of the Fraser Valley is enriched by the students, staff and faculty from varied and diverse backgrounds. Each and every community member is an integral part of the mosaic that is UFV and being respectful of one another is a fundamental cornerstone of the growth, learning and engagement necessary to keep the university thriving. As such, there is no room for discrimination, harassment or bullying on any of the UFV campuses.

The University acknowledges its responsibility in providing all members of the university community with access to information on the Discrimination, Bullying and Harassment in all its forms and to provide appropriate avenues for redress.

UFV’s Harassment Prevention Policy 18 provides information on the university’s commitment to provide a harassment free environment for staff and faculty. This workshop will:

• Cover the key elements contained in Policy 18
• Provide ample opportunity for discussion and shared learning
• Engage learners in scenario-based understanding of harassment, discrimination and bullying
