Pay parking resumes on campus Aug 16

Following a 17-month pause, UFV will resume pay parking on the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses Monday, Aug. 16, 2021.

Fees automatically deducted

For permanent employees with valid passes, parking payroll deductions will automatically resume on Aug. 16. Expiry dates are listed on the hang-tag parking pass, and those with expired passes will be contacted via email. Monthly parking fees remain unchanged from 2019-20.

New or expired passes

If you are new to UFV or your parking permit has expired, please follow the directions at www.ufv.ca/parking/pay/employees/ to have your new pass mailed to you. You will receive a temporary 3-week permit while waiting for your new hang-tag in the mail.

 Opt-out option

If current parking pass holders wish to opt out of payroll deduction, please follow instructions here: www.ufv.ca/parking/pay/employees/. To complete the opt-out process, you will be required to submit your parking pass to Parking Services.

 Parking payment options

  • Payroll deductions (set up through myUFV for permanent employees)
  • Pay-by-Phone www.ufv.ca/parking/pay/paybyphone/

 Thank you for helping students

We appreciate the 162 employees who redirected parking payments into the UFV Student Emergency Fund during our 17-month hiatus, raising nearly $63,000 for students in need.

UFV Advancement has contacted those currently redirecting payments about continuing or cancelling donations once paid parking returns. If you redirected parking payments into the Student Emergency Fund, please email Deanna.Mcintyre@ufv.ca with your decision to continue or cancel those donations.
