Procrastination Avoidance Week — March 8-12

Remember the Long Night Against Procrastination? LNAP is back!! It has a new name, it’s fully online, and it’s going national!!

PROCRASTINATION AVOIDANCE WEEK (PAW)
Mar 8-12, 2021, 10 am-2 pm

Thirteen academic institutions from across Canada are partnering to offer comprehensive procrastination avoidance support for students as we enter the end of semester crunch of the Winter 2021 semester. Students are invited to attend remote workshops to learn strategies related to focus and concentration, motivation, time management, writing, studying, and exam preparation. PAW programming will also feature a virtual study hall for students who are looking to work alongside others and a virtual lounge/de-stress room for relaxing quiet chats and activities.

In addition to connecting UFV students with students across Canada, the Academic Success Centre and friends will host a variety of “UFV only” activities and events. Academic Success Centre staff, peer tutors, and academic integrity mentors will be available throughout the week in both the national PAW rooms and the UFV-only rooms.
