BFA Grad Exhibition: Beru Bell, Pointy Trees on view at the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery

Exhibition continues November 10-26, 2020

The S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery welcomes visitors to experience Beru Bell’s installation Pointy Trees, 2020 from November 10-26, 2020. Pointy Trees introduces tree-lanterns constructed from biodegradable materials with each one having its own sound-reactive circuit. In this space, any sound that you make will extinguish the lights inside the trees. Video and paintings are also part of this ecologically themed exhibition.

What to know before you visit:
Since reopening, procedures have been put in place to ensure that the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery is safe and ready to welcome visitors.
• Wear a mask, face shield or face covering (mandatory, effective September 1, 2020).
• At this time, we are only allowing a maximum of three people in the gallery at a time.
• Please keep two (2) metres (6 feet) apart.
• Do NOT touch any of the artworks.
• Do not visit if you are feeling unwell.
• Gallery Hrs: noon-5 pm, Mon – Fri
• Admission is free.
