Research Option & Scholarly Activity (ROSA) workshop — Sept 10

The UFV Research Office facilitates a yearly workshop for permanent teaching faculty who are interested in applying for either a Research Option or Scholarly Activity (ROSA) release, or a Scholarly Activity Grant. ROSA applications are due October 31 of each year, and this year we have introduced some changes to the application.

Ask questions and learn how to prepare a strong ROSA application by attending our upcoming workshop:

Thurs, Sept 10
10–11:30 am
Bluejeans video app

Hosted by Jerri-Lynne Cameron, Director, Research Services and Industry Engagement
RSVP: https://ufv-rosa-workshop-2020.eventbrite.com

This workshop covers:

• The application process
• Common missteps that hurt applicants’ chances of being funded
• How ROSA applications are assessed
• Tips and strategies for developing a strong, persuasive proposal for ROSA.

If you are unsure about your ROSA release eligibility, visit https://ufv.ca/research/faculty/funding/rosa-support/.
