In a rich and unique tradition dating from 2005, the Alumni Association has partnered with local wineries to produce Commemorative Wine in honour of the graduating class. The wine is unveiled at a yearly spring event, and the artwork for the labels is selected through an alumni artist competition. The wine is sold throughout UFV communities as a fundraiser for the Alumni Association’s student monetary awards.
The Commemorative Wine is often purchased as a memorable graduation gift, as a prize for events or for enjoyment at special occasions.
The 2020 wines offered are Chaberton Estate Winery’s 2018 Valley Cab and 2019 Estate Grown Bacchus.
