UFV Library course resources service — we can help you digitize

Do you have course readings or media resources (images, films, etc.) that you need to digitize to put into your Blackboard courses? Library staff can help. We will take your course reading/learning resources lists, identify if the resources are already available in digital format in our licensed databases, and provide you with the permanent links. For other items, we will assess copyright implications and, if permitted, we will scan or digitize the item for you. If we cannot digitize content due to copyright restrictions, we will work with you to identify alternatives and find resources that will work for your classes.

Send us your course syllabus or resource lists as soon as possible, before you head off on vacation. Keep in mind that media requests are often complex and will require more time to process. And please be prepared to communicate with library staff over the summer to ensure that your resources are ready in time for the fall semester.

To submit your requests, see Course Resources Services (the orange box) here: https://library.ufv.ca/faculty/course-readings/
