Parking Fees suspended/Student Emergency fund

Since many UFV employees are working remotely to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, UFV has suspended bi-monthly parking fees for all staff and faculty until further notice.

As a result, several employees have generously offered to donate their parking fees to the UFV Student Emergency Fund, and suggested we provide this option to all employees.

This fund assists students experiencing urgent and serious financial difficulties. The university is receiving an unprecedented number of requests as a result of the pandemic. Your donation will provide much-needed financial relief.

To donate your parking fees, please complete the online form by April 15, 2020. The reallocation of $12.50 per pay period (or any amount of your choosing) would begin April 30, and cease when parking fees are reinstated. Authorizations received after April 15 will be reflected on the May 15 pay.
