Our annual Student Leadership Symposium (SLS) is designed to prepare future civic and community leaders, a core mission of UFV College of Arts.
The objective of SLS is to support students by enriching their journey as future community leaders and help them to embody the vision of education at UFV Arts: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration.
The symposium is a full-day event, which includes a keynote delivery, lunch panel and three workshops.
The 2020 Student Leadership Symposium will be on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Our Theme for the 2020 Student Leadership Symposium is Empathy in Action.
UFV Visual Arts student Chantelle Trainor-Matties designed this year’s Empathy in Action artwork, which was incorporated into the symposium’s logo.
