Anna Kuczynska, an associate professor in Upgrading and University Preparation and the UFV Math and Stats Centre coordinator, has written an open textbook for Math 085 called “Intermediate Algebra and Trigonmetry” that has been accepted into BC Campus’s Open Textbook collection which can be found at the collection as well as on Anna’s website at https://anna-kuczynska.weebly.com/inter-alg–trig-bcc.html. Kuczynska’s ambitious textbook both meets provincially articulated adult basic education learning outcomes while removing a financial barrier to students (zero textbook cost).
