What is happening?
All employee, student lab, and classroom-based computers are being upgraded to the Windows 10 operating system. If you received your UFV computer through the UFV Employee Computer Refresh Program after May 2019 it will already be operating on Windows 10.
What do I need to do?
ITS will contact you if your desktop operating system is being upgraded.
Laptops will need to be delivered to the Service Desk for upgrading. ITS will contact users 2-3 weeks ahead of scheduled servicing.
Why are we doing this project?
Windows 7 will no longer be supported after January 2020. Windows 10 will bring enhanced productivity tools and improved security measures aimed at keeping data safe and secure.
