Call for Proposals: Fund for Innovative Teaching

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) has a Fund for Innovative Teaching (FIT) to support short-term (up to one-year) proposals for faculty to create, develop, or deliver innovative teaching and learning opportunities for students.

This year, the following topics will be prioritized as fundable projects:
• Development of online courses
• Collaboration between faculty and student affairs
• Innovative delivery models
• Indigenization
• Experiential, work-integrated learning
• Internationalizing curriculum and learning
• Anti-racial pedagogy
• Interdisciplinary team teaching
• Open educational resources

FIT funding for any one project may be for a maximum of $10,000.

All FIT applications (for 2020-21 fiscal funding) must be submitted to the Office of the Provost, and VP Academic (provost@ufv.ca) by October 31, 2019.-
