Self-Studies in Higher Education — Session 2 — Oct 18

The Adult Education department is initiating the second of an annual, themed series of study groups aimed at broadening and deepening our reflective practices and collegial relations as teachers, educators, and administrators in higher education.

Session 2: Community Engagement
Wed, Oct 16
11 am–1 pm
Abby B133

Community engagement is about building strong and meaningful relationships. Cultivating relationships between communities (locally and globally) is core to the mission of the UFV and it is also central to teaching, learning and scholarship. In this session, attendees will get a chance to come together to explore the concept of community engagement (including principles and practices) and how it applies to our work at UFV.
