An energy efficiency study will take place in Building D on the Abbotsford Campus on Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24 as part of the UFV Building Renewal project.
Building D will be closed (no access) on Saturday, August 24 as testing is done to measure and establish baselines for energy use and to document existing issues in this building.
The air-conditioning in Building D will shut down mid-day Friday, August 23 and remain off all day Saturday, August 24 while teams prepare the building and then conduct testing.
The energy study will provide projections on how the Building Renewal Project will improve carbon emissions, lower energy costs, and improve work space conditions.
The improvements made during the Building Renewal Project will contribute to UFV’s commitment to energy efficiency and the comfort of faculty, staff, and students.
