Explore Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy This Fall

Pat Rockman MD, CCFP FCFP is a physician and is one of the leading trainers in the world about Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) who will be teaching at UFV this fall. We are fortunate to have someone of Dr. Pat Rockman’s caliber and experience to be teaching ADED 421 CRN 90970 Advanced Studies of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Rockman has a focused practice in mental health. She is the co-founder and director of education and clinical services at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies (CMS) in Toronto. She is also an associate professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Family and Community Medicine cross-appointed to Psychiatry. Dr. Rockman developed the MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program at CMS as well as numerous other workshops. She has taught nationally and internationally in the area of mindfulness-based programs which also includes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction(MBSR). She is a mentor for both MBCT and MBSR trainees.

ADED 421 Advanced Studies of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy will be good for anyone interested in learning the benefits of mindfulness practices or for those dealing with stress or depression.
