Dear Colleagues,
Convocation provides two of the happiest days of the year for our students and for me, personally, and I invite you to be part of it.
UFV Convocation ceremonies in 2019 will be celebrated on June 4th and 5th. Once again, we will host the events at the Abbotsford Centre and invite your participation to help make this celebration of our students’ achievements memorable.
I acknowledge and am very grateful for all the support we’ve had from so many of you previously, and hope I can count on that again. Those who participate as members of Team Convocation will have their regular work day reassigned to convocation duties.
As in the past, we will provide food and refreshments.
The four ceremonies are:
• Tuesday June 4 at 9:30 am — Faculty of Applied and Technical Studies, Faculty of Science
• Tuesday June 4 at 2:30 pm — College of Arts
• Wednesday June 5 at 9:30 am — Faculty of Continuing Education, Faculty of Health Sciences
• Wednesday June 5 at 2:30 pm — Faculty of Professional Studies
There are many ways you can help make Convocation 2019 UFV’s best yet.
Visit the Team Convocation site for descriptions of positions available. To sign up, please enter your information in the form on the web page. Positions will be filled on a first-come basis, so don’t delay if you have a preference. Please check with your supervisor to be sure you can be excused from your regular duties before signing up.
