Volunteer positions on Senate and the Board of Governors provide valuable opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and network with other university and community leaders.
The call for nominations is underway for the following positions:
• Two students for the Board of Governors (must be members of the Student Union Society)
• Four students for Senate (must be enrolled in at least one UFV credit course)
Students serve a one-year term from August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020.
If you are interested in filling a position, please complete a nomination form online (www.ufv.ca/get-involved) and return it to Lisa Boldt, Assistant to the Senate, room B303j at the Abbotsford campus, or email it to UFVSecretariat@ufv.ca. The deadline for nominations is Monday, February 4, at 4 pm.
