Join us on Tuesday, April 30 for 2019 Professional Development Day
at the Abbotsford campus.

‌‌‌All faculty, staff, and administrators are invited to a day of professional development to connect with colleagues, learn tools, tips, and trends in higher ed, and grow as we move UFV towards the future.

Facilitate a PD Day workshop(s)

A message from Eric Davis, Provost and VP Academic; Human Resources and the Teaching & Learning Centre:

We invite all UFV faculty and staff to submit proposals for workshops for UFV’s fourth annual Professional Development Day on April 30, 2019.

Submit your proposal

Deadline for proposals is January 25, 2019.

Workshop facilitators will be notified by the end of February of accepted proposals.

This year’s theme is Innovating for the Future/Design Thinking, and proposals must relate to the following sub themes:

  • Technology
  • Diversity
  • Wellness
  • Pedagogy
  • Research

Proposals will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • Topic
  • Potential audience
  • Link to themes
  • Proposed outcomes

PD Day is supported by the Office of the Provost and Vice President, Academic, the Teaching & Learning Advisory CommitteeHuman Resources, and the Teaching and Learning department.
