On Tuesday, September 26, Madison Stewart will give a presentation on her experiences working as an intern for Mosqoy, a Canadian NGO based in Cusco and the surrounding Sacred Valley region of Peru. Mosqoy is a multidimensional organization, focusing on Peru’s rural development in the spheres of sustainable tourism, Indigenous knowledge and youth education.
Madison is a fourth-year undergraduate student with a passion for working with Indigenous communities. In the Spring of 2016 she lived in Cusco and assisted in Mosqoy’s Textile Revitalization project by visiting rural Indigenous artisans and marketing their works.
