Dear Colleagues,
As follow up to Board Chair John Pankratz’s message of March 3, 2017 announcing my appointment to the role of interim President and Vice Chancellor effective July 1, 2017, I am pleased to announce the plan for administrative continuity within the CFO & VP Administration portfolio.
Director of Finance Betty Poettcker has agreed to take on the role of interim CFO & VP Administration. Betty’s knowledge and experience make her the perfect choice for this transition period. She is a core member of the administrative team and an outstanding leader and colleague. Betty will be supported by Executive Assistant Kasey Merritt who will continue to provide exceptional administrative support to the division.
With Betty’s transition to the CFO/VP Administration role, Nicole Adams will step into the Director of Finance position, providing continuity and leadership for the Finance department. This is a natural transition for Nicole who has served as Associate Director, Finance since 2009. Supported by a strong Finance team, Nicole has the experience and expertise necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
Please join me in thanking both Betty and Nicole for serving in these interim positions and ensuring continuity during this transition period. I know they are grateful for the support of their colleagues in the Finance department.
