The Library and Information Technology Department is hosting a cryptoparty!

A “cryptoparty is a decentralized movement with events happening all over the world. The goal is to pass on knowledge about protecting yourself in the digital space. This can include encrypted communication, preventing being tracked while browsing the web, and general security advice regarding computers and smartphones.” (www.cryptoparty.in)

Bring your curiosity, phone, tablet, & laptop to learn how to protect your privacy online! Guests will include anonymity expert and researcher Sarah Jamie-Lewis, who will discuss how it is possible to take control of your cyber security (https://sarahjamielewis.com/) .

Snacks will be provided. This is a FREE event but please register to ensure we have enough space and snacks.
