A message from Jacqueline Nolte, Dean of the College of Arts, and Peter Geller, Vice Provost/Associate Vice President, Academic :
We are pleased to announce that Sylvie Murray will assume the position of Associate Dean of Faculty, College of Arts, for the 2016-17 academic year commencing September 1, 2016. Sylvie, who is currently the Program Development and Quality Assurance Coordinator, was previously a longstanding faculty member in the History department, including serving as department head from 2003-07. She has been active member of the UFV community, including serving on Senate and a number of Senate standing committees.
She will be a welcome addition to the College of Arts leadership team in her interim role.
Bruce Kirkley, faculty member in Theatre (College of Arts) and Fiona McQuarrie, faculty member in the School of Business (Faculty of Professional Studies), will be sharing the responsibilities of the Program Development and Quality Assurance Coordinator for the 2016/17 academic year. We look forward to working with both Bruce and Fiona in their interim roles.
