UFV is launching a brand-new, high-energy format for New Student Orientation this year! New students will get to know the campus and student services as well as make new friends during the Amazing Race, UFV Edition, on August 30 and September 2. Amazing Race teams will complete challenges at 25 stations in order to qualify for a grand prize (and bragging rights).
If you’re eager to share your school spirit and competitive edge with new UFV students, the Student Ambassadors want you! We need a total of over 100 team leaders for the CEP and Abbotsford editions of this event. In order to make this a positive experience for new students, team leaders are asked to complete a four-hour training session on August 22. This training session will give you the fundamental skills to lead your team to victory.
All Student Ambassador events (including training and NSO) are eligible for Co-Curricular recognition.
