Business students looking for visitors to Abbotsford for focus group

Tourism Abbotsford has been selected by UFV Business students for their winter semester class research project. The project topic is: to find out what types of visitor experiences would help develop the destination brand and overall experience.

The students will be conducting focus groups to better understand the purpose of visits to the community, duration of visits, visitor expectations, and how Abbotsford is perceived. This valuable information will allow Tourism Abbotsford to gain better insights about visitors and identify the types of experiences that would provide a more robust overall visitor experience.

Focus group participants needed
We are looking for participants that have either previously visited Abbotsford or are currently visiting the city, and who can meet for  one hour on one of the following dates/times:

• Thurs, Feb 4/3–4 pm, TBD.

If you are able to participate in this important study, please contact Craig Nichols at cnichols@tourismabbotsford.ca. Preregistration is required.

Your participation would be much appreciated by both the UFV students and Tourism Abbotsford. Light refreshments will be served and you will receive a small token of appreciation for your participation.
Thank you in advance for your time!
