Summit: UFV Undergraduate Journal of the Arts

Summit: UFV Undergraduate Journal of the Arts is proudly accepting papers for its inaugural publication in Spring 2016.

Summit is a student-run academic journal that recognizes excellence in research and writing by undergraduate arts students at the University of the Fraser Valley. The editorial board is currently seeking essays written in 2015 by students for upper-level courses within the College of Arts. Selected essays are to be both presented at a conference and published in a journal.

Courses in the College of Arts fall within the following departments:
Humanities: Art History, Communications, English, Journalism, History, MOLA, Philosophy, Theatre, Visual Arts
Social Science: Criminal Justice, Economics, Geography (B.A.), Political Science, Psychology, SCMS (Anthropology, GDS, ICS, LAS, MACS, Sociology)

What should my essay be about?
Anything! Summit aspires to showcase papers with innovative qualities, unique viewpoints, and interesting research findings from a varied range of topics and disciplines.

Why should I submit?
Summit serves UFV’s undergraduate arts students through offering them an outstanding opportunity to present and discuss their work at an academic conference, while the journal provides for them an excellent publication vehicle.

How do I submit?
Please send your submissions to summit@ufv.ca. To be eligible for having your essay reviewed for publication, please ensure that your submission meets the guidelines listed at facebook.com/UFVSummit.
