UFV  recently hosted six Korean graduate students of philosophy from Kyungpook National University in Daegu, the third largest city in the Republic of South Korea. They came to Canada for one week to study philosophical mental healthcare with  the UFV Philosophy department’s Dr. Peter Raabe. Two of their professors, Dr. Kim Suk-Su and Dr. Moun Jean-Sou, accompanied the students and participated with them during the week of morning seminars. The visiting professors also discussed the possibility of a scholarly partnership between the two universities with David McGuire, executive director of UFV International. The translation of Dr. Raabe’s book Issues in Philosophical Counselling into Korean is scheduled to begin shortly.
