Manulife Financial, the benefit carrier for UFV, has confirmed UFV’s premium renewal rates effective April 1, 2015. The direct impact to permanent employees covered under UFV benefits is the Long Term Disability premium which is employee paid. The rate has increased from 4.12 cents per $100, to 4.36 cents per $100, representing a 6% increase to your LTD premium. This increased LTD premium costs will be reflected in your April 15, 2015 pay.
