Tel i’tsel Kwe’lo (I Am From Here) explores identity, land, place, and citizenship through women’s stories, lived experiences, intergenerational, and intercultural points of view.
Through a situated lens, diverse voices, and representations all their own, these student artists confront hidden histories, suppressed voices, and representations of Indigenous people in film, art and media.
Lens of Empowerment: women’s citizenship and identity in Stó:lō territory is a pivotal cooperative project of Visual Arts, Indigenous Affairs, and Indigenous Studies at UFV.
