Print/photocopy chip technology for employees ended Aug 27

If you’re an employee who uses chip technology to print and photocopy, take note. As of Aug 27, you will no longer be able to use the chip funds to print or photocopy on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack, or Mission campuses. Chip technology will no longer be used by employees or students on these campuses.

If you’re an employee who authenticates to a Xerox multifunction device using their Employee ID for print and photocopy, this process will not change.

What happens to department print/photocopy funds on the chip after Aug 27? Chip funds can be transferred back to your department budget prior to Dec 31, 2014. After that date, chip funds cannot be recovered. Bring your card to the Bookstore for assistance.

The Hope campus will continue to use the chip technology.
