Please note that the telephone switch moves have been rescheduled for Sat, July 12.
Please be informed that there is scheduled maintenance work to be performed at tCEP campus during the weekend of July 12. We need to move the telephone switch and the main telephone lines from Chilliwack North to FiveCorners to provide telephone service at the new location. During the move the main switchboard number 604-792-0025 will ring through to Abby as usual, but any of the direct dial (DID) numbers from outside calls on the 79 exchange, such as with prefix 792 and 795, would not forward to the Chilliwack campus at CEP.
Here are the specific areas that will be affected:
1. The Theatre dept connected to the UFV phone system at Chilliwack North will lose all telephone connections during the move and reconnection.
2. Any public (external) calling the listed UFV number in Chilliwack, 604 792-0025, will not be transferred to the switchboard in Abbotsford.
3. Any public (external) calling the direct in locals 702-26 — or 795-28 — at CEP will not get through. The locals will still work internally but will not work for outside callers.
