E-permit parking now available to non-permanent employees

In collaboration with Impark, UFV has introduced e-permit parking for non-permanent UFV employees. A non-permanent employee can register only one vehicle on the e-permit system and must purchase a minimum of one month at a time ($25/month). This new e-permit system will streamline the application process and provide more convenient service to non-permanent employees.

Changes to pay parking process for non-permanent employees

  • $25 per month – this can be purchased at a monthly increment up to a maximum of 3 months — employee e-permits are available for purchase through the myUFV web portal; credit cards are the only method of payment. First time users of the e-permit system will have to register with Impark.
  • The non-permanent employee e-permit allows the employee to park in employee-designated lots and the student lots should the employee lots be full.
  • An employee not wanting, or unable to purchase a non-permanent employee e-permit, may opt to park in regular student parking areas and pay the daily student rates.
  • Student parking fee rate at the meter is $1 for every two hours.
  • To assist with the application process, the user guide can be found at http://www.ufv.ca/media/assets/parking/Employee-User-Guide-Purchase-e-permit—2014-04-23.pdf

This new online e-permit service will be available to non-permanent employees commencing Friday, May 2.

Please direct any pay-parking related inquiries to facilitiesservicedesk@ufv.ca or call local 4542.
