Starting April 1, there will be a change in the way MFDs (photocopiers) are accessed. Users will be required to key in their Banner ID# and department budget code to establish authentication. For assistance please visit the Print Services website at http://ufv.ca/printservices/mfd-authentication/
Currently there are a number of MFDs that have “open” access. We have had many requests from departments to enable identification of usage and volume to monitor print budgets more effectively and track detail. This process will allow for accountability and savings.
Departments will receive monthly reports detailing print charges and activity, which will assist in identifying anomalies. Any questions about charges, volume, or errors can be queried easily.
