In an effort to help people better interpret the meaning of grades assigned to students, the Undergraduate Education committee (UEC) would like to make a revision to the grade interpretation wording of the Grading System policy (101).
The following changes are proposed:
- Change the B grade from ‘Above Average’ to ‘Good’
- Change the C grade from ‘Average’ to ‘Satisfactory’
- Change the P grade from ‘Pass (below average)’ to ‘Minimal Pass’.
As a part of the consultation process, UEC requests that feedback be sent to the UEC assistant, Ashley Hoogendoorn (Ashley.Hoogendoorn@ufv.ca), by 4 pm on Fri, Oct 25.
